Library Vision/Mission:
The mission of the East Franklin Jr. High School Library Media Program is to ensure that students are effective users of ideas and information. The library media center strives to provide the school community and all stakeholders with a wide range of materials on appropriate levels of difficulty that will encourage growth in knowledge, establish a life-long love of reading, foster information and technology literacy, and will enhance and supplement the core academic instructional program. We strive to provide resources and learning opportunities that embrace the CCRS and the Alabama Course of Study standards. Staff members work collaboratively with teachers as learning partners as we teach our students and provide high quality instructional programs that meet the needs of our students.
